Lover to Sanguine, his performance partner for over a century. The two were a travelling troupe that performed through Greypeak and Brightstone, until one of their performances drew them to the city of Strassen. There the Duke, a secretive vampire, had Melancholy and Sanguine turned after a rapturous performance made him wish to keep the duo in his own court and employ. Only recently has the pair been able to break from his spell, though they were quickly swept up by the nefarious Baroness Noctra de Blanc instead.
